Equilateral Technologies Receives Order for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) for Spectrum Management Engine for the Army WIN-T Program

Lexington, MA, September 30, 2011 — Equilateral Technologies announced today that it has received an order for its Spectrum Management Engine (SME) software for Increment 2 of the US Army’s Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T) Program.  WIN-T is the Army’s next generation, on-the-move, high speed, high capacity backbone communications network.  Equilateral’s SME is a highly complex software system designed to optimize wireless networks by minimizing interference and maximizing spectrum reuse.

“We have moved beyond the important and rigorous testing stages and the SME has proven itself a valuable part of the overall WIN-T solution.  Everyone at ETI is very excited to reach this important milestone,” said Dr. Donna Fagen, CTO of Equilateral Technologies. “It is very rewarding for the entire team to see our products being used in such an integral way in this important and far reaching program.”
